Learning Opportunities Coming in September
posted on August 18
Two great learning opportunities are coming up in September!
First, on Thursday, September 7, at 11 AM Eastern/10 AM Central, the UMC General Council on Finance and Administration is offering a free webinar on on new ways to financially support your church's ministry. Rosanna Anderson is joined by the Rev. Rosario Picardo, author and United Methodist church planter who serves as executive pastor of New Church Development at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Tipp City, Ohio. He will share ideas from his book published by Abingdon in 2016. Pastors and leaders in stewardship and finance will engage in questions to prompt creative thinking and innovative methods that are working in different contexts. You may discover resources and potential that can bear fruit when placed in the Lord’s hands.

Will Shewey and Katelin Hansen. The day begins at 8 AM Eastern with Breakfast and Registration, and concludes at 2 PM. The cost for the day is $40 (includes breakfast and lunch). If you need to stay the night, you are invited to stay at Henderson Settlement for a low fee of $25 per night.
Continuing education credits are available. Contact Michael Feely at firstname.lastname@example.org or 606-337-3613 ext. 320 to register. For more information or directions, visit http://HendersonSettlement.org.
